Delete your account and your data

This page explains how to have your Cumpà account and the information attached to it erased, from the app or without it. The process is free, requires no justification, and has no consequences.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Deleting your account from the app

Open Cumpà, then:

Profile › Settings › Delete my account, and confirm.

It is immediate. Your account is closed at once and becomes inaccessible. No email to send, no waiting period, no justification to give.

2. Deleting your account without the app

You do not need to reinstall Cumpà to have your data erased. Send a message to:

contact@cumpa.fr

Simply write "I request the deletion of my Cumpà account", preferably from the email address associated with your account. If you write from another address, or if your account was opened in guest mode, ALVIA may ask you for something allowing it to be located — never an identity document, unless there is serious doubt.

ALVIA acknowledges receipt and acts on the request within 30 days at most, in practice within a few days. The process is free.

3. Erasing only your health data

You can keep your account and have only what you declared about your body erased — discomfort, pain, tiredness, sleep, cycle-related feelings. This is the withdrawal of your health consent.

Write "I withdraw my health consent" to contact@cumpa.fr, or go through Profile › Contact in the app. ALVIA acts on it within 72 hours.

You then keep your account, your session history and full access to the service. The app switches to simplified mode: it proposes sessions matched to your profile, but no longer to how you feel today.

4. What is erased

When the account is deleted, the following are erased within 30 days:

  • your email address, your password and your account identifier;
  • your profile: age bracket, level, goal, rhythm, available time, gender if you had entered it;
  • your profile picture;
  • all your daily declarations: energy, sleep, place, time, soreness;
  • all the discomfort and pain you declared, with their area and intensity;
  • the whole of your session history, your feedback and your breaks;
  • your device identifier for notifications.

The 30-day period is that of the backup rotation: beyond it, no copy remains.

5. What is kept, and why

Only three items survive deletion, because the law requires or allows it. None of them contains health data.

6. If you have an active subscription

During the test phase the service is free and no subscription exists, so this does not concern you.

7. Getting your data back before you go

You can ask for a copy of your information before deleting your account. Write to contact@cumpa.fr from your account's email address: ALVIA sends you all your data in a readable file that can be reused elsewhere, free of charge, within one month at the latest.

Once the account is deleted, that copy is no longer possible: ask for it beforehand.

8. Contact and redress

The full description of all processing is in the app privacy policy.

If a request goes unanswered or the answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
