Ridge trail, Ajaccio
Two stripes, like a trail marker: you're on the right path.
The Cumpà symbol

Cumpà, your companion. You tell it how you feel, it tells you what to do today.

Get back in shape
without ever
wondering what to do.

You open it, you say how you feel. Cumpà tells you what it would do today: one session, the right one for your day, at home or outside.

Answer here, and it decides.

Simplified version, with no history and no tracking. The app decides from far more than this.

Step 1 · Who it's for

Four situations.
You're in one of them.

Heard in August, from people who wanted to move and couldn't anymore.

Life took over

You never decided to stop.
It just crumbled.

Work, kids, the unexpected. You know you'll get back to it. It's not motivation you lack, it's the headspace to think about it.

What Cumpà changesNothing to book, nowhere to go, no equipment. Fifteen minutes is enough, and the session is already chosen.
  1. The body said stop

Injury, surgery, pregnancy. Getting back without putting yourself off.

Cumpà trains around what hurts. Never on it.

  2. The body slowing down

You feel heavier, or you want to stay able to keep up.

Cumpà strengthens on good days, loosens on tired days.

  3. The false start

A gym paid for and never visited. A programme restarted five times.

Cumpà follows no fixed plan. It knows you a little better every day.

“There's always a session that fits the day you've got. Even when the day is short.”Cumpà · Mount Oriente
Step 2 · How it works

Three taps. One session.
The why.

When you open it, it's there. Nothing to type, no watch: how you feel is the best signal there is.

Ten seconds

You say how you feel

Your night, your energy, your time, what hurts. Taps, not a form.

Right away

Cumpà proposes the session for right now

Based on your night, the time, the weather and your last few days. At 7 am or 9 pm, not the same session.

In one sentence

It tells you why this one

And it leaves you in charge: shorter, gentler, or not today.

Check-in screen: sleep, energy, time, discomfort
Today screen: the session for today
Why this session screen: the signals that weighed in“Here's what weighed. You can still change it.”
Step 3 · Caution

What protects you.
And not just your knee.

Getting hurt, other people's eyes, your own judgement: Cumpà protects against all three.

Your body

Something hurts? We train around it. A bad night? Intensity drops by itself. Too many heavy days? Rest, and it counts.

Other people's eyes

At home, nobody's watching. You take the space you need, and the time to do it right.

Your judgement of yourself

No score, no streak to protect. Cumpà tells you where you stand, in words. If something pushes too hard, it tells you to stop.

What you say about how you feel is used for your session only. Never sold, never shared. Hosted in France, with a certified health-data host.

“A rest day is a decision. Not an absence. I'll tell you when it's the right one.”Cumpà · The aghja of Punta Marinaccia
“The programme doesn't know if I slept badly or if my ankle is pulling.”
A 40-year-old runner, using a free programme from a sports brand. Interview, August 2026.
The rear-view mirror

Watch, scale, sensor: everything about the past, nothing about tomorrow.

The fixed plan

Week 3, day 2: the same session, whatever happens.

The class for everyone

Monday's class is the same whether you slept or not.

Cumpà

One session for one person, one day, one state.

Step 4 · The companion

Cumpà is
the companion.

In Corsican, a cumpà is a companion, a godfather. Someone who walks beside you, who doesn't give orders and doesn't grade you. It's pronounced “coom-pa”.

In the app, it's the one talking to you. Never to judge, always to tell you which way it would go.

The Cumpà symbol“I don't run ahead. I look at where you are, and I tell you which way I'd go.”
Step 5 · Who marks the trail

Behind Cumpà,
someone.

I've been a television director for fifteen years, at ViaStella. My job is to put other people's lives on screen, and to decide what we keep. In the evening, the one question I could never settle was my own: “what do I do today?”

Cumpà was born from that. Before writing one more line, we listened to you. This site changed afterwards.

Emmanuel Cardi, founder. Ajaccio.

Every landscape on this site was photographed here, on these trails, around Ajaccio.

Step 6 · What they said

Before writing one more line,
we listened to you.

In August 2026, people who had stopped, who got injured, who paid for a gym they never went to. We asked them what kept them from moving.

“If it adapts to how you are, it's not the same thing at all. That changes everything.”
Jeanne, 38. Two kids, former handball player, a back that locks up.
“I want the little effort I make to really fit my goal.”
Antoine, 62. A desk job all day, a rowing machine abandoned since summer.
“It wasn't psychological, I just didn't have the time.”
Marion, 44. One child, shifting hours, four sessions a week before him.
“I kept paying my membership but never went. Because if I cancelled, I'd never go again.”
Magali, 38. Eighteen months of gym paid for, zero sessions.
“I need to be told it's this day at this time, and I go.”
A 45-year-old employee. Eight to six, a mat in front of the TV.
“You just put your trainers on and off you go. No need to think.”
Christophe, 58. Triathlon for fifteen years, started at 45.

Several will be among the first thirty testers. The next testimonials will come from them, not from us.

“The body you have today. Not yesterday's, not the programme's. That's the one we start with.”Cumpà · Mount Oriente, winter
Step 7 · The sessions

Four families.
Only one that counts: today's.

Twenty-five sessions, three lengths, zero equipment. You don't pick any of them.

Before you go

What we get asked the most.

Does Cumpà replace a health professional?

No. Cumpà is a decision aid for exercise, a non-medical wellbeing tool. Sharp pain, dizziness, chest tightness: you don't train, you talk to a health professional.

Do I need a smartwatch?

No, and it's not a gap. Cumpà relies on what you tell it about how you feel today. That's the most complete signal there is: it includes what hurts, the time you have and your day, which no sensor measures.

What if I haven't exercised in years?

That's exactly why Cumpà exists. Getting back is gradual, and it will never propose a session above how you feel today.
